For the Base

  • 1 bunch dandelion greens Fresh greens are preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil or butter.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances flavor.

For Seasoning

  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Fresh lemon juice preferred.

Preparation

  • Thoroughly rinse the dandelion greens in cold water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a clean towel or paper towels.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and allow it to heat up.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  • Introduce the washed dandelion greens to the skillet, stirring them into the garlic-infused oil.
  • Sauté the greens for approximately 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are wilted and tender.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving warm.

Notes

Taste as you go and adjust seasoning accordingly. For extra crunch, sprinkle toasted nuts or seeds on top before serving.
