  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the chicken.
  • Add the cream cheese on top of the chicken.
  • Pour the chicken broth around the chicken.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Shred the chicken using two forks and mix everything together.
  • Stir in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese until melted.

Serving

  • Serve over rice, in sandwiches, or on its own, garnished with green onions if desired.

Notes

For even more flavor, add garlic or onion powder along with the ranch seasoning. You can also add hot sauce or diced jalapeƱos for heat. Ensure not to overcook the chicken, as it should shred easily when done.
