  • 2 cups broccoli florets You can adjust the amount based on preference.
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce for a gluten-free option.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Adjust to fit your taste.
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce Use gluten-free oyster sauce for a gluten-free option.
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Used to thicken the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons water Mix with cornstarch before adding to sauce.
  • Cooked rice for serving Serve over white rice, brown rice, or cauliflower rice.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a crockpot, combine sliced beef, broccoli, soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, garlic, and ginger.
  • Stir to coat everything evenly.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • In the last 30 minutes, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl until smooth, then stir into the crockpot to thicken the sauce.

Serving

  • Serve over cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove until heated through. You can add other vegetables like bell peppers, snap peas, or carrots for extra nutrition and flavor.
