Ingredients
  

Tuna Salad Ingredients

  • 1 can can of tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Wrap Assembly

  • 2 whole whole wheat wraps
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Lettuce or spinach (optional) Use for added freshness

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the drained tuna with mayonnaise, mustard, celery, onion, salt, and pepper.
  • Lay out the whole wheat wraps and place a portion of the tuna salad in the center of each wrap.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the tuna salad.
  • Add lettuce or spinach if desired.
  • Roll the wrap tightly, folding in the sides as you go.

Toasting (optional)

  • Optionally, toast the wrap on a pan for a couple of minutes on each side until golden and the cheese melts.
  • Slice in half and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using flavored tuna, trying different cheeses, or using fresh herbs. If you prefer a crunchier texture, leave out the lettuce or spinach until ready to serve.
