Ingredients
  

Bread Mixture

  • 1 loaf bread Cubed
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 onion Chopped
  • 3 stalks celery Chopped
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary Chopped
  • salt and pepper To taste
  • 1/2 cup parsley Chopped

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and celery, cooking until softened.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread, cooked onion and celery, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Gradually stir in the vegetable broth until the mixture is moist but not soggy.

Baking

  • Transfer the stuffing to a greased baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm as a delicious side for your Thanksgiving meal. To customize, you can mix in other ingredients like nuts, dried fruits, or different vegetables.
