  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef for less fat.
  • 8 oz rotini pasta Can substitute with other short pasta.
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth Use low sodium if preferred.
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Can use other types of cheese.

Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper Can add more for spice.
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional) For garnish.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Beef

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Stir occasionally and drain excess fat.

Sautéing Vegetables

  • Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent.
  • Add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant.

Combining Ingredients

  • Sprinkle in paprika, salt, and black pepper; stir to coat evenly.
  • Pour in beef broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Add rotini pasta, cover, and let simmer on medium-low heat for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Finishing the Dish

  • Once pasta is tender, stir in heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.

Notes

Stir occasionally to avoid sticking. You can add spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition. Adjust spices for desired heat.
