  • 2 pieces chicken breast Boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup buttermilk For marinating
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper Adjust for spiciness
  • 1 cup flour For coating the chicken
  • 1 teaspoon salt For seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon pepper For seasoning

For the Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Base of the sauce
  • 1/4 cup cream For creaminess
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper Add more for spiciness
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For flavor
  • 1 teaspoon salt To taste

For Assembling

  • 4 pieces brioche buns Toast before assembling
  • 1 cup lettuce Fresh leaves
  • 1 medium tomato Sliced

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine buttermilk, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Marinate the chicken breasts in this mixture for at least an hour.
  • In another bowl, mix flour with some cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Remove chicken from marinade, coat in seasoned flour, and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
  • For the sauce, mix mayonnaise, cream, a pinch of cayenne, garlic powder, and salt to taste.

Assembly

  • Toast brioche buns and assemble the sandwich with crispy chicken, sauce, lettuce, and tomato.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to your liking. Make sure the oil is hot enough before adding the chicken to ensure it becomes crispy. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after frying to keep it juicy. If you have leftovers, store components separately, keeping fried chicken in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
