Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wraps for Two

Ingredients
  

For the Base

  • 1 pound 1 pound (450 g) of chicken breast, sliced Can substitute with turkey or tofu.
  • 2 large 2 large tortillas (flour or whole wheat) Use corn tortillas for a gluten-free option.

For the Sauce

  • 1/3 cup 1/3 cup (80 ml) of buffalo sauce Adjust for preferred heat level.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper to taste

To Serve

  • 1 Lettuce or mixed greens
  • 1 Sliced tomatoes
  • to taste Blue cheese or ranch dressing (for drizzling) Greek yogurt can substitute for a healthier option.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken slices with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

Cooking

  • In a skillet over medium heat, add the seasoned chicken. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until cooked through and nicely browned.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, pour the buffalo sauce over it. Stir to combine and heat through for another minute.

Assembly

  • On each tortilla, lay down a generous portion of cooked buffalo chicken. Top with lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and drizzle with your choice of dressing.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly from the bottom up. Slice each wrap in half and serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the pan; taste the sauce before serving; use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
