Ingredients
  

For the Garlic Bread Bowls

  • 1 loaf garlic bread Use a sturdy garlic bread loaf.

For the Pasta Filling

  • 8 oz spaghetti Cook until al dente.
  • 4 cups pasta sauce Use your favorite variety.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Mozzarella or Parmesan.
  • assorted vegetables Optional, such as bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the garlic bread package instructions.
  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a pan, heat the pasta sauce and add any vegetables you want to include. Cook until veggies are tender.
  • Combine the cooked spaghetti with the sauce mixture.
  • Hollow out the garlic bread loaf to create bowls.
  • Fill each garlic bread bowl with the spaghetti and sauce mixture.
  • Top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Let cool completely before storing leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave. Make sure not to overcook spaghetti, as it will continue cooking in the oven. Get creative with the veggies and cheese amounts you add.
