  • 0.5 pound breakfast sausage

  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven as per the biscuit package instructions.
  • In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  • Once the sausage is cooked, remove from heat.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan and add garlic powder and black pepper.
  • Cut the refrigerated biscuits in half and layer them in a baking dish.
  • Sprinkle cooked sausage and shredded cheese over the biscuits.
  • Pour the melted butter mixture over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.
