Instructions

Preparation

  • Grill or pan-sear the steak to your desired doneness, typically medium-rare. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Cook the shrimp seasoned with salt and pepper until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Toss occasionally for even cooking.

Assembly

  • In a large salad bowl, combine chopped romaine, halved cherry tomatoes, diced avocado, sliced hard-boiled eggs, crumbled blue cheese, and chopped cooked bacon.
  • Top the salad with slices of the rested steak and the cooked shrimp.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and red wine vinegar, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Toss gently to combine all ingredients and serve fresh.

Notes

For the best taste and texture, keep all ingredients chilled until serving. Avoid overcooking the shrimp to prevent a rubbery texture.
