Ingredients
  

For the Sushi Bake

  • 2 cups sushi rice Use sushi rice for best texture.
  • 1 lb fresh salmon, cooked and flaked
  • 8 oz imitation crab, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup spicy mayo, store-bought or homemade Adjust amount to taste.
  • 2 pcs green onions, chopped

For Serving

  • Nori sheets, cut for serving
  • Soy sauce, for serving
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flaked salmon, imitation crab, cream cheese, spicy mayo, and chopped green onions until well combined.

Baking

  • In a baking dish, layer the cooked sushi rice evenly at the bottom.
  • Spoon the salmon mixture over the rice, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and slightly bubbling.
  • Remove from oven and let it cool slightly.

Serving

  • Serve warm with nori sheets for wrapping, soy sauce for dipping, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat at a low temperature until warmed through. Variations can include cooked shrimp or vegetables like cucumber or avocado.
