  • 4 cups mixed greens Spinach or arugula can be used as alternatives.

For the Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette Alternatives include honey mustard or lemon vinaigrette.

To Serve

  • to taste salt and pepper Season to enhance flavor.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, sliced strawberries, blueberries, and cubed mozzarella cheese.
  • Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette and toss gently to combine all ingredients.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix again gently to ensure even distribution of flavors.
  • If time allows, let the salad sit in the refrigerator for about 15-30 minutes before serving.
  • Serve chilled as a side dish alongside your favorite grilled meats or on its own for a light meal.

Notes

Fresh ingredients yield the best flavor. Store salad components separately if making ahead. This salad does not freeze well.
