  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy and smooth.
  • Mix in the pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  • Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Baking

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

Cooling and Frosting

  • Allow cookies to cool completely before adding the frosting.

Frosting Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until creamy.
