  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons A-1 sauce
  • 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
  • 4 pieces toasted buns Keep separate from the beef mixture to maintain texture.
  • 4 slices provolone cheese Can be swapped for other cheeses such as cheddar or mozzarella.

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  • Add the chopped onion and green pepper, cooking until softened.
  • Stir in the beef broth, A-1 sauce, and steak seasoning, allowing to simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Toast the buns and fill them with the beef mixture.
  • Top with sliced provolone cheese and serve.

Notes

Serve with extra toppings like pickles or hot peppers and pair with fries or salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. The beef mixture can be frozen for up to three months.
