No-Bake Strawberry Jello Lasagna

Ingredients
  

For the Base

  • 36 pieces Golden Oreos, crushed Use as a crust.
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted Ensure fully melted for mixing.

For the Cream Cheese Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Can use low-fat or fat-free for a lighter version.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups Cool Whip, divided Homemade whipped cream can be used instead.

For the Jello Layer

  • 1 package Strawberry Jello (3 oz) Other flavors can be tried.
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced Use to layer on top.

To Serve

  • as needed additional strawberry slices for decoration
  • as needed extra Cool Whip Optional.

Preparation

  • Mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter in a bowl until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in 1 cup of Cool Whip until fully incorporated. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust. Chill again for at least 30 minutes.
  • Dissolve the Strawberry Jello in 1 cup of hot water, stirring until fully dissolved. Let it cool slightly, then pour it over the cream cheese layer.
  • Arrange the sliced strawberries evenly over the Jello layer and press them down gently. Chill until the Jello is set, about 2 hours.
  • Once the Jello is set, top with the remaining Cool Whip and decorate with more strawberry slices as desired. Chill for at least 3 hours before serving.

Notes

Customize with different fruits or use chocolate syrup for added richness. Make-ahead by preparing a day in advance and store in the fridge.
