Ingredients
  

For the Base

  • 2 cups fresh, filtered water
  • 1 tablespoon dried nettle leaves

To Serve

  • 1 slice fresh lemon
  • to taste honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 slice fresh ginger (optional)

Preparation

  • Start by boiling 2 cups of fresh, filtered water in a kettle.
  • Once the water is boiling, add 1 tablespoon of dried nettle leaves per cup of water. Stir lightly.
  • Let the mixture steep for 5–7 minutes. You’ll know it’s ready when the color resembles vibrant spring grass.
  • Carefully strain out the nettle leaves using a fine mesh strainer.
  • Pour the tea into your favorite cup, and add a squeeze of fresh lemon. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired.

Notes
