  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Rub the mixture all over the chicken breasts.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Sear the chicken breasts in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.

Serving

  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mixture for a few hours before cooking. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Letting the chicken rest after baking helps keep it juicy. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
