  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped Fresh tomatoes can be used if sun-dried are unavailable.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano Fresh herbs can also be used.
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil Increase amount if using fresh herbs.
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) For a spicy twist.

To Serve

Preparation

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear the chicken on both sides until golden, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes if using.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, reduce the heat to low, and let simmer for about 20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Serve the Marry Me Chicken over your choice of pasta or rice, and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Timing is crucial to avoid overcooking the chicken. Add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving for extra brightness.
