Ingredients
  

For the Base

  • 1 ripe Mango Use fresh ripe mango for the best flavor.
  • 1 ripe Avocado Ensure it's ripe for creaminess.
  • 1 Red capsicum pepper Red adds the best sweetness.
  • 1 Red onion Use green onions for a milder taste if desired.
  • 1 Cucumber Chopped into small pieces.
  • to taste Fresh Coriander/Cilantro For mixing into the salad.

For the Dressing

  • 1 lime Juice of 1 Lime Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • to taste teaspoon Salt Adjust according to preference.
  • to taste teaspoon Red chilli flakes Add according to spice preference.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil.

To Serve

  • to taste Additional coriander leaves for garnish Optional garnish.

Preparation

  • Begin by peeling and slicing the ripe mango and avocado into bite-sized pieces. Dice the cucumber, red capsicum pepper, and onion finely.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped mango, avocado, cucumber, red capsicum, and red onion. Gently toss the mixture to avoid mashing the avocado.

Making the Dressing

  • In a separate small bowl, mix the freshly squeezed lime juice, olive oil, salt, and red chilli flakes. Whisk until well combined.

Combining and Serving

  • Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently. Make sure all ingredients are coated in the dressing.
  • Fold in the fresh coriander/cilantro just before serving for an added burst of flavor.
  • Transfer the salad to a serving dish or individual bowls. Garnish with additional coriander leaves if desired. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

Choose ripe fruits for maximum flavor and creaminess. This salad is best consumed fresh but can be kept refrigerated for a short period.
