Preparation

  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  • Cook the chicken for about 7-8 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  • In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add green beans to the skillet to steam along with the chicken.
  • Drizzle lemon juice and zest over the chicken and green beans.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or a side salad. It can also be paired with crusty bread to soak up the butter sauce. For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in lemon juice, garlic, and herbs for 30 minutes before cooking. For added heat, include red pepper flakes or sliced chili peppers. Avoid overcrowding the skillet during cooking to ensure proper browning.
