Ingredients
  

For the Base

  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup salami, diced Can substitute with turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed Use low-fat mozzarella for a healthier version.
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Dressing

  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing A homemade vinaigrette can be used as an alternative.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, black olives, salami, mozzarella, red onion, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Drizzle the Italian dressing over the mixture and toss everything until well coated.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Toss the salad again before serving, ensuring any settled dressing is mixed in.

Notes

Store salad ingredients separately if preparing in advance. This salad is best consumed within 3 days. Keep dressing separate until ready to serve.
