  • 2 cups green tea, brewed and cooled Use decaffeinated green tea for a caffeine-free version.

For the Citrus

  • 1 whole lemon, juiced Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 1 whole lime, juiced Freshly squeezed for best flavor.

To Serve

  • to taste Fresh mint leaves Gently bruise before adding to release flavor.
  • to taste Honey Can be substituted with agave syrup or maple syrup.

Preparation

  • Brew 2 cups of green tea according to package instructions and let cool to room temperature.
  • In a pitcher, combine the cooled green tea with the freshly squeezed lemon juice and lime juice.
  • Add honey to the mixture, adjusting to your taste preferences, and stir well until dissolved.
  • Add a handful of fresh mint leaves and gently mix to release their flavor.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the tea mixture over the ice. Garnish with extra mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Refrigerate the brewed tea for quick cooling. This drink is best served immediately while cold. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
