Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup buttermilk Marinate chicken for at least 1 hour.
  • 1 cup flour For dredging chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper Increase for extra spice.

For the biscuits

  • 4 pieces biscuits Homemade or store-bought.

For the drizzle

  • 1/4 cup hot honey Mix honey with hot sauce for homemade.

Preparation

  • Marinate the chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  • In a bowl, mix together flour, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Bake or warm the biscuits according to package or recipe instructions.

Assembly

  • Assemble by placing the fried chicken on the split biscuit, then drizzle with hot honey.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers separately in airtight containers for up to 2 days. Reheat chicken in the oven and warm biscuits before serving. For extra flavor, add garlic powder to the flour mixture.
