For the Base

  • 4 fresh peaches, sliced If fresh peaches are not available, use nectarines.
  • 1 cup blackberries Feel free to swap with strawberries or raspberries.
  • 1 cup blueberries Feel free to swap with strawberries or raspberries.
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds

For the Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons honey Agave syrup or maple syrup can be used as a vegan alternative.
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice Fresh lemon juice can be used for a different taste.

To Serve

  • Fresh basil leaves, torn Use whole basil leaves for a beautiful presentation.

Preparation

  • Wash and slice fresh peaches into wedges or chunks.
  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, blackberries, blueberries, and pomegranate seeds.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey and lime juice until smooth and well combined.
  • Drizzle the honey-lime mixture over the fruit and gently toss to coat all the pieces evenly.
  • Tear fresh basil leaves and sprinkle them on top of the fruit salad.
  • Serve immediately as a refreshing side dish.

Notes

Prepare just before serving to maintain freshness. The salad can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days but is best eaten fresh. Chill well before serving for the best experience.
