Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add vegetable oil.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet.
  • Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken and simmer for a few minutes until the glaze thickens.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the chicken, as it can become dry. Check its internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C). You can add a splash of lime juice or vinegar for a zesty twist. If you want more sauce, just double the honey and garlic ingredients. For variations, use chicken thighs for richer flavor, or add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli while cooking.
