  • 2 pieces bell peppers (any color), diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust to personal preference.
  • Olive oil for sautéing

Cooking Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
  • Add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
  • Stir in the diced bell peppers and season with chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook until the peppers are tender.
  • Serve over rice, in lettuce wraps, or as a taco filling.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat or use the microwave. For added flavor, incorporate other vegetables like corn or zucchini.
