  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with cream of chicken soup or homemade version.

To Serve

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese You can mix with mozzarella for variation.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet; cook until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes and cream of mushroom soup. Season with salt, pepper, and any optional herbs, mixing thoroughly.
  • Pour the beef mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Cut each biscuit into quarters and arrange on top of the beef mixture.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over the biscuits.

Cooking

  • Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
