Preparation

  • Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add diced chicken breast to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Stir in the cream and grated Parmesan cheese into the skillet, mixing well to combine all ingredients.
  • Add the cooked tortellini and chopped broccoli to the sauce, tossing to coat. Cook until the broccoli is tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Serve hot, topped with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For an elevated dish, try using homemade garlic confit instead of minced garlic. Opt for freshly grated Parmesan and consider serving a splash of balsamic reduction for a gourmet touch.
