Ingredients
  

For the Base

  • 8 oz pasta Use any pasta shape.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • to taste salt and pepper

For the Sauce

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half or plant-based milk.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth

To Serve

  • 1 cup spinach (optional) Other greens like kale or broccoli can be used.
  • to taste Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once done, drain it and set aside.

Preparing the Chicken

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Sautéing the Garlic

  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Making the Sauce

  • Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.

Adding Spinach (Optional)

  • If using spinach, add it to the sauce and cook until wilted.

Combining Ingredients

  • Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss everything together to combine and heat through.

Serving

  • Serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

Serve with a fresh green salad or garlic bread. Adjust garlic levels and include optional veggies for a personalized dish.
