For the chicken

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the pasta

  • 300 g pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (plus extra for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cooking the Chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir to coat the chicken in the garlic butter and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens slightly.

Notes

Serve this dish warm garnished with fresh parsley. Pair with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
