  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs For coating

  • 1 egg

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into small balls or bites.
  • Roll the bites in breadcrumbs until coated.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Fry the bites in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.

Notes

Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce like marinara, ranch, or sriracha mayo. Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying for a good crunch. Don't overcrowd the frying pan; fry in batches for even cooking. Feel free to customize with different cheeses or cooked bacon.
