Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Roast beef Deli-style or leftover roast beef
  • 8 pieces Slider buns Can also use mini baguettes or soft rolls
  • 2 cups Caramelized onions Cooked until deeply caramelized
  • 1 cup Cheese Provolone or Swiss are great options (optional)
  • 2 cups Au jus For dipping
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp Butter For toasting buns

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.

Assembly

  • Season the roast beef with salt and pepper.
  • Slice the slider buns in half and arrange the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Layer roast beef and caramelized onions on the buns. Add cheese if desired.
  • Place the top halves of the buns on top.
  • Brush the tops with butter and bake for 10-15 minutes until the buns are golden.

Serving

  • Serve sliders warm with au jus for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding minced garlic to the butter before brushing it on top of the buns. Store any leftover sliders in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to avoid sogginess.
