  • 1 box cake mix (vanilla or white) Any brand of vanilla or white cake mix can be used. For gluten-free, choose a gluten-free mix.
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil Can substitute with melted coconut oil.
  • 2 large eggs For an egg-free option, use 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce per egg.

For the Mix-ins

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup red, white, and blue candies or sprinkles Can vary based on occasion.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Stir until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and the red, white, and blue candies.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced about 2 inches apart.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes
