  • 1 lb Chicken breasts or thighs Use boneless for easier cooking.
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce For marinating.
  • 1/4 cup Honey Adds sweetness to the sauce.
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Grated.
  • 2 cups Rice Cooked as a base.
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil For cooking the chicken.
  • 2 tbsp Green onions Sliced, for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sriracha, minced garlic, and grated ginger.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add chicken and cook until browned on both sides.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken and simmer until chicken is cooked through.

Serving

  • Serve Firecracker Chicken hot over a bed of fluffy rice, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

Make sure to marinate the chicken in the sauce for at least 30 minutes for extra flavor. If you like it spicier, add more sriracha to the sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
