Syrup Base

  • 240 ml water
  • 200 g brown sugar or use maple syrup for deeper flavor
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin purée not pumpkin pie filling
  • 0.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 pinch salt

Flavor Enhancers

  • 2 tbsp marshmallow cream or use a handful of mini marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Add flavor: Remove from heat and stir in marshmallow cream and vanilla extract until fully melted and smooth.
  • Cool and store: Let the syrup cool for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a clean jar or bottle. Refrigerate for up to 10 days. Shake before using.

Notes

This syrup adds cozy flavor to coffee, lattes, iced drinks, and desserts. Adjust spices to taste, and reheat gently if it thickens. Use dairy-free marshmallows for a vegan version. Perfect for gifting during the holidays — just bottle and label!
