Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Potatoes (cut into 1/2" cubes)
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Parsley (fresh, or 1/2 tsp dried)

Preparation

  • Cut all potatoes into small 1/2" cubes.
  • Heat a skillet to medium-high heat and add butter and oil.

Cooking

  • Add chopped potatoes to the hot skillet and toss around to fully coat in the butter/oil combination. Sprinkle potatoes with seasonings except for the parsley.
  • Cover to let potatoes lightly steam for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and stir potatoes. Continue to cook potatoes with the lid off, turning potatoes around with a spatula to ensure an even cook on all sides.
  • When potatoes are done, they will have a light crisp on the outside and be soft on the inside.
  • Sprinkle potatoes with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

Make sure to cut the potatoes evenly to ensure they cook at the same rate. For extra flavor, consider adding other spices such as paprika or cayenne pepper. If you want them to cook faster, soak the diced potatoes in cold water for about 30 minutes before cooking. Customize by adding diced bell peppers, onions, or cheese.
