Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 2 cups egg noodles (not cooked)
  • 1 pound ground beef (lean) Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 1 onion (cut up)
  • 2-3 garlic cloves (cut tiny)
  • 1 spoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 spoon Italian spices
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups beef stock Add more stock if the sauce gets too thick.
  • Salt & pepper Add to taste.

Cooking Noodles

  • Get water boiling with salt. Cook noodles according to package instructions.

Cooking Beef Mixture

  • Put beef and onion in a pan on high heat. Break up meat while it cooks for about 10 minutes, keeping some fat in the pan.
  • Turn the heat down. Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian spices. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add flour and mix, cooking for 2 minutes.
  • Pour beef stock in slowly while stirring. Cook for 5-10 minutes until thick, adding more stock if it gets too thick.
  • Mix in cooked noodles. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

Serve with crusty bread or sprinkle with fresh parsley or grated cheese for extra flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
