Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers, halved cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella balls.
  • Tear the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl. Toss gently to avoid bruising the basil.
  • Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
  • Gently toss to combine all the ingredients before serving immediately or refrigerating for a short time.

Notes

Chill the salad for about 10 minutes before serving for a refreshing touch. Consider serving on a bed of mixed greens for an added layer of flavor.
