Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot, ensuring they are spread out evenly for even cooking.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Pour the cream mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring it’s evenly covered.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream. This dish is best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Reheat gently.
