  • 1.5-2 pounds Stew Meat
  • 1 oz Packet Au Jus
  • 1 oz Packet Brown Gravy
  • 1 oz Packet Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 12 oz Egg Noodles, cooked

Preparation

  • Add the stew meat to the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the onion soup, au jus, and brown gravy packets on top, and add the diced onion.
  • Pour in the water and beef broth, then give everything a nice big stir.
  • Put the top onto the crockpot and set it on low for 6 hours.

Finishing

  • Once the six hours are up, stir everything together and break up the chunks of beef a bit while you’re stirring.
  • Finally, stir in the egg noodles. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Serve in a deep bowl and garnish with fresh parsley or black pepper. Pairs well with steamed vegetables or a fresh salad. For extra flavor, consider adding garlic, carrots, or mushrooms. Adjust the liquid based on your preference, and add a cornstarch slurry for a thicker sauce if desired. You can also use different cuts of beef or pasta types for variations.
