  • 1 lb ground beef Browned before adding to the slow cooker
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (16 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
  • In a slow cooker, combine the browned beef with kidney beans, corn, diced tomatoes, chopped onions, chopped bell peppers, beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir well to combine all ingredients.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Serve warm and enjoy your hearty stew.

Notes
