  • 2 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a richer sauce
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese Can be substituted with other hard cheeses
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it well with the sauce.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve Creamy Garlic Chicken over rice or pasta to soak up the sauce, and complement with steamed vegetables or a salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently.
