  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts Ensure they are boneless and skinless for best texture.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix Adjust quantity based on taste preference.
  • 1 8 oz cream cheese Reduced-fat option available.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Feel free to mix different cheeses.
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled You can use turkey bacon as a variation.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the chicken.
  • Add the cream cheese on top of the chicken.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, shred it using two forks.
  • Stir in the cheddar cheese, bacon, and green onions.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

You can serve this dish on its own or in buns. Add a side of salad or veggies for a complete meal. For storage, use an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for longer storage (2-3 months).
