  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

To Serve

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to mix in pepper jack cheese for extra heat or use a dairy-free alternative for a vegan version.

Preparation

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the softened cream cheese and Rotel tomatoes. Stir until the cream cheese is melted, and the mixture is smooth.
  • Mix in the ranch dressing and garlic powder. Continue to stir until everything is well combined and heated through.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it is fully melted and incorporated.
  • If the dip is too thick, you can add a splash of milk to achieve your desired consistency.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

To keep the dip warm during a party, use a slow cooker on the warm setting. This recipe is customizable, so you can add diced jalapeƱos for spice or mix in various cheese types for different flavors.
