Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened) Make sure it's softened for easier mixing.
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • Optional: chopped pecans or orange zest for topping Adds extra flavor and texture.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a mini muffin tin.
  • In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half. Press each piece into the muffin cups.
  • Spoon in 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling into each cup, then add 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
  • If you want, sprinkle chopped pecans or orange zest on top for extra flavor.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 11-13 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  • Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These bites are best served warm and can be offered on a platter. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes before serving again.
