Ingredients
  

For the Cowboy Butter

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Steaks

  • 2 ribeye steaks Adjust for serving size

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.

Cooking

  • Cook the steaks on the grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, depending on the thickness.
  • Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.

Serving

  • Top each steak with a generous dollop of the cowboy butter and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, let the steaks come to room temperature before cooking. You can adjust the garlic and herbs in the cowboy butter according to your taste. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness, aiming for 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare. If you have leftovers, let the steak cool completely and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
