Ingredients
  

Cheese Stick Mixture

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably whole wheat)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

For Cooking

  • as needed Cooking spray or olive oil for frying

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine the cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Shape the mixture into sticks about 4 inches long and 1 inch wide.
  • Place the cheese sticks on a lined baking sheet and spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.

Baking

  • Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm with dipping sauces like marinara, ranch, or garlic sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Reheat to restore crispiness.
