Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Dusting

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix together oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  • Chill the dough for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and roll them in powdered sugar.
  • Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until slightly cracked on top.
  • Let cool and enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Best enjoyed with milk or ice cream. Cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week or frozen with parchment paper between layers.
