  • 1 box 18 oz brownie mix Prepared according to box instructions

For the Toppings

  • 2 cups chopped strawberries Fresh strawberries are recommended
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips Can substitute with dark or milk chocolate
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil Can be replaced with melted coconut oil

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix instructions.
  • Prepare your brownie mix as directed on the package and pour it into a greased baking pan.

Baking

  • Bake the brownies according to the time specified on the box.
  • Let them cool completely in the pan once done.

Topping Preparation

  • While the brownies are cooling, wash, dry, and chop your strawberries into bite-sized pieces.
  • Spread them evenly across the cooled brownies.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil.
  • Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.

Serving

  • Transfer the melted chocolate into a ziplock bag, cut off one end, and drizzle the chocolate over the strawberries in a decorative pattern.
  • Place the brownies in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour to set the chocolate drizzle.
  • Slice into squares before serving.

Notes

These brownies can be prepared in advance. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Enjoy chilled for the best flavor.
